TOURNAMENT RULES

1. This tournament is a non-elimination format. Each entrant will participate in four rounds over the two days of tournament competition. Total score will be based on these four rounds of play.


2.
The accumulation of each individuals score from all 4 rounds will determine the overall winning places. Points are awarded based on individual table placement during each round. Each table will have up to 7 players. The point structure will be based on the total number of players per table.

3. In an effort to make it fair for all players, tournament committee has the option to move players from one table to another to allow same number of players on each table.

4. Any players with a tied bankroll will split the points evenly excluding finals table.

5. Tournament committee will enter all tournament players who played in each round into Wild Card Drawing. All participants must play all rounds in their entirety to be eligible for Wild Card drawing.

6. All Wild Card participants must be present at the drawing in order to be eligible for the wild card round. If an entrants name is drawn and the winner is not present, they forfeit their seat for the wild card round. NO exceptions. Seven wild card entries will be drawn for the wild card round. The winner of the wild card round will be added to the final table.

7. Each player will be offered to cut the deck in clockwise rotation. A player may not refuse to cut.

8. If the dealer asks you for insurance, the dealer will take your insurance bet starting with the 1st base marker, each player has the option only at the time it is offered. No even money.

9. You may double down on any two original cards. All cards will be dealt face up. Blackjacks pay 2 to 1. Normal Rainbow Blackjack rules apply.

10. Tournament chips may not be removed from the tables at anytime.

11. No royal match bets.

12. Chips not in play must be kept in clear view in front of each player. The chips must be stacked separately, by denomination, so that they will be easy to read by other players. They may only be handled when placing or collecting bets. No objects will be allowed on the tables and no writing materials or calculation devices of any kind will be authorized.

13. Players need to be at their table 5 minutes prior to the start of the round. Players missing the start of their assigned round will receive a score of zero for that round. After five hands a player will be disqualified and a score of zero will be tallied for that round. If a player quits playing in a round a score of zero will be tallied for that round.

14. No coaching or consultation with bystanders will be allowed. Collusion between two or more players will be grounds for disqualification.

15. At the end of each session the player’s score will be recorded on a scorecard.

16. Any card exposed out of turn will be burned.

17. Entrants will start with $500 in non-negotiable gaming tournament chips. Chips will not carry over between rounds. Each round begins with a new bankroll.

18. Betting limits: $5 minimum $200 maximum. A single deck will be used in all rounds. A drawing of cards will determine starting position Ace will be 1st base. Puck will be rotated after every two hands to mark the 1st base position. The dealer will shuffle after every second hand and the 1st base marker will move after each shuffle. (You must bet in order starting with whoever is 1st) One countdown will be held with 4 hands left to play in each round.

19. There will be 28 hands dealt in each round, each player must bet on each hand. (No sitting out.) Each entrant may play only one hand. Please be ready to bet when it is your turn, (no more then 30 seconds.) Once you make your bet, you cannot change it in any way. Late betting will not be allowed.

20. In the event of a tie for overall First and Second place, a sudden show down will be played for the tied players. Each player in the sudden showdown (1st and 2nd place only) will receive $500 in tournament chips. Five hands will be dealt out, with the first base determined by the roll of the die. The player at the end of the fifth hand with the most money is determined the overall winner of the tournament. Ties for the position of Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh place will be split evenly among the tied players.

21. Players not adhering to the rules may be disqualified at the discretion of the casino management. Disqualified players will not share in any prize or awards. Management reserves the right to change these rules at any time and the right to accept or deny any entry in the tournament without cause.

22. The top 6 players with the highest total accumulated score will advance to the final table. Ties will be broken by the 1st round dollar accumulation, then 2nd, ECT for a seat at the final table. A wildcard drawing 10 minutes prior to the final round will select the 7th finalist.
